Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base in Green Review

Hey guys happy Sat-night
So,this is my 1st post on February.
Sorry I'm kinda late it's just my cousins came to Medan and I'm quite lazy too to turn on my computer ,seriously :|
So now I'm going to post a review from Etude House's product, Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base in Green!
Yes it's kinda of wayyy too old product. It's from their Sweet Recipe line.
Actually I wish I got the jar version since it's really cuttteeeee, but it has discontinued and came with tube version. The good thing is it's more hygienic, since I heard the jar version doesn't include a spatula, but don't know some who bought it found a spatula inside OAO jackpot maybe?
So I've been drooling and searching which shade is suitable for me?Since it came in peach, berry, and green color.
The peach one is for people with yellow dull skin tone.It helps in brightening your face to make it more 'alive'
The berry one is for people with pale skin
The green one is for people with skin problems/imperfections such as redness, acne scars, etc
So being a girl with flaw-full face (well not the whole face but it's so bad in one certain spot) I decided to pick the green one. Check it out

1.The front box
2.The top

3.The side of the box
4.Ingredients list (click to zoom). The product is good to use for 18months after you open it
5.The tube

6.The manufacture date
7.Twisted/screw cap. I ever mistaken it as a pull off cap and trying hard to pull it. LOL stupid me!
Lucky it doesn't break (yet) !
8.So this red spot is the sample to show how well this base makeup can cover imperfections
Lucky I got one mosquito's bite on my hand for sample, red, you can make it as a substitute for pimple! LOL /slap

9.Splat some cream on the right
10.Zoom! Sorry for wrong rotation ;b
As you can see it's quite runny watery, but believe me when I first tried it,it's almost like my Dear Girls BB Cream (read the review here ) just a little bit more watery, but this is wayyy too watery and I don't know since when it turns out like that and it's easily burst out from the tube!

11.Blended!
12.Tap a little bit more on the spot with a little bit of the base (2layer)
13.Tap some more! (3layer)

You can see the coverage is quite amazing, medium to full. If you don't have many imperfections, you can wear this base alone, and this base contains decent SPF of 25!
But if you want to apply bb cream after I suggest don't put this base too much since you will cover more with your bb cream later or else it'll look cakey and fake flawless face. You know what I mean?
The downside is if you have dry skin, this might be a troublesome product since it enhances dry patches and make it look really visible. You can remove your dry patches with peeling/scrub and splat a lot of moisturizer and wait for a moment then you can apply this to avoid those cracking face.Just remember you must not apply the base directly after you put on moisturizer because your face is still too wet and make the base runny and can't set properly, but don't wait for it to really fully absorbed (dry) since it'll still show the dry patches (even it's lesser than without peeling etc) and hard to blend on those areas and uneven skin tone finish.
For you who have normal-oily skin this product is good to you. It leaves skin with matte finish with quite good oil control.
This base has scent that I can't describe, first sniff is lovely but a little bit longer makes me sick and want to puke ! (But that depends on who sniff it too). But don't worry the scent will disappear for a moment after you put this on your face!
Honestly this is not my regular makeup,I would use this if my face is really on the bad moment but after some trial I can avoid those 'scars' but my skin is really dry since I used Etude House AC Clinic trial (read the review here and second thought here ) and uneven skin tone so later on I barely use this . I use this (until now) less than 5 times only!Such a waste of my money

And also I notice my face feels 'heavier' after I put this on. Just not really comfortable with it

So let's go to the conclusion shall we?

PROS:
1. Contains SPF25
2. Medium-full coverage
3. Hygienic since it comes in a tube
4. This base has 3 shades to choose depends on your skin
5. Decent oil control

CONS:
1  Enhance dry patches
2. The smell
3. Heavy feeling on the face

RATINGS:

3 out of 5 stars

REPURCHASE?
No. I barely use this product what makes me think to buy another tube?

Who Might Like It?
*People who need more coverage
*People with normal-oily skin/no dry cracking face

So,what do you think?Have you tried this product??What is your favorite base?

Cure Aqua Natural Aqua Gel Review

Hey guys,happy Thursday!
So today I'm going to review peeling (scrub) product from Japan! *drumrolls*
If you follow my post, you'll notice that now I have terribly dry skin on my cheeks, and between my brows.sometimes on my nose too since I used Etude House AC Clinic Trial (review
here and second thought here )
And it affects my look especially when I'm using makeup (BB Cream) because it tends to show up the dry patches. YUKK!
I'm looking for a peeling product but not doctors' peeling treatment!! No No No! It peels off all your skin with harsh chemical stuffs and makes your skin very sensitive and cooked red crab!
I've been eye-ing Dr.ChukChuk peeling since I saw lots of great reviews and I'm about to purchase it since it's on 1+1 promo! (body peeling+face peeling) . But.... why I ended up with this?
Okay,here's the story.
I'm in the middle of blog surfing and found a blog (thankful) that mention about this cheating (Dr.ChukChuk) product. She said that the body peeling is wonderful, and when she purchased the face peeling and about to try it,she noticed that there's fibers in the liquid and with just 1 swipe all the white thingy that we thought the dead skin appears but it's actually comes from the fibers! I was like WTH? On that moment I canceled my initiation to purchase it. And immediately search for Cure Natural Aqua Gel product when she said it's her favorite peeling product (but of course I blog surfing again for this product reviews)
There's a lot of seller but most of them are pricey, and cheap ones out of stock.Searching and waiting for months! And finally this baby arrived to my house!!
Excited to try it and up til now this is the product I've been using whenever my skin peels off and I need to put on makeup.

1. Cure Natural Aqua Gel!

2. The back full of English descriptions. Hello English!
(even though I'm in Japanese literature major, but I'm quite a newbie and not pro enough to read these kind of descriptions /slap ) . Click the image to zoom! Many of goodness in the ingredients list. It really does as it promises to be very gentle and pure. No wonder this is a top hit!

3. Code bar

4. Comes in a pump, and there's this thing to prevent it from accidentally pressing the pump. Good job!

5. Pluck out
6.It has semi liquid texture. Liquid to watery and runny! Transparent.
Sorry for the bad flash
7. So I put it on my hand and rub it but there's barely any dead skin so I re-apply on my wrist and rub it. Can you see those white thingy over there? I swatch this after I took a bath so I won't mistaken the dead skin is my skin's dirt LOL

So this is kinda a quick savior on my dry day. Even though I'm too lazy to reapply again and again until my face's perfectly clean from dry patches and sometimes my skin's dried up but not yet ready to peel off (if you know what I mean). Stubborn skin!
I'm quite sensitive and my face's easily turns red when it's get in touch with harsh products,so this product doesn't cause any redness! The redness comes from my rubbing hand even though I rub it gently -_-

You can use this for body too! Even in the most sensitive area !

My mom was shocked and complaining when I told her about this amazing peeling product. She thought it's a kind of doctors' peeling. She's quite out to dated :/
Tried to explain to her but she won't understand until she curiously tried it.I asked her opinion and she said it was so-so (trying to keep those images) LOL

How to use:
1. Cleanse properly the area that you want to peel and towel dry
2. Pump some on your fingers and rub gently the area that you want to 'peel'
3. When the liquid starts to run out (dry),pump some more and rub again until there's no white thingy anythingy thingy left
4. Wash it off. You don't need to use any soap/cleanser to cleanse it.Just water. It's suggested that you use sanitized water like for drinking water to cleanse your face since the water is pure from harmful stuffs that can 'contaminate' our 'new' skin
5. Towel dry then you can continue with your skincare and makeup routine

So.here's my conclusion!

PROS
1.Natural almost like water! Say hello for sensitive skin savior!
2.Doesn't cause any redness (it's natural hey!) ,redness only comes from rubbing hand -_-
3.Can be use for body and sensitive areas!
4.Brightening (of course your skin gets brighter with new skin!)
5. The peeling power is awesome!Do mind you must use it more than one if you have a lot of dead skin. All peeling products are the same

CONS
1.Pricey
2.Hard to find it here (Indonesia)

RATINGS

4,5 out of 5stars (that heart means half LOL )

Will I repurchase?
Sure! If I don't find anything better than this.

So,have you ever tried this product? What is your favorite peeling product?

Etude House Happy Cleansing Foam - Vitamin C Review

Hey guys! Today I'll review about my favorite cleanser so far.

So,I've been looking for good cleanser that don't irritates, making tight sensation, drying out my skin . And interested with the name when I saw it on my pricelist (I own onlineshops) and search for reviews and man there're tons of great reviews!Immediately purchased 2 ,in Collagen and in Vitamin C.
At first I want to use both,Vitamin C at morning,Collagen at night. But as usual, got lazy before I even start it! Ended up using only one Vitamin C!
1. The bright lemon color! Sorry for the bad flashy lighting and almost used up tube LOL
Honestly it really brighten my bathroom with the color. Just make me happy to see it like the name, Happy Cleansing Foam!

2.The ingredients list

3.It comes in flip cap
4. Let's see how well it works for cleansing make up.
Sorry for the bad rotation. It should be left, middle, right, but now I'll change it into top, middle, bottom LOL
a. Top : Concealer (Forgot the brand,I don't check it /slap )
b. Middle : Artistry Foundation
c. Bottom : Etude House Dear Girls BB Cream (you can see the review here
d. Right: Happy Cleansing Foam. It's quite thick and creamy, but easy to lather. A little goes along the way

I only use BB cream for everyday makeup. I just put this on on my hand to see the cleanser effectiveness
5. Completely blended the foundation and BB cream
6. Spread and rub the cleanser across the makeup. See the color turns yellowish-brownish?
7.Washed and dried with a towel. You can see there's still some sheer foundation and BB cream, and quite visible concealer. Sorry you can see it clearly since the flash lighting
8. Tried to re-wash it with the cleanser. Less yellowish .
9.There's still concealer left even though it quite sheer now. Honestly it almost invisible for me too,and I tried to check it with toner swipe

10.TARA! You can see there's concealer's dirt on the cotton pad.
So,it's still not completely clean

So,as you can see the cleansing power is not really effective. If you want more effective cleanser you can find other cleanser,I'm sure they will cleanse better, since this cleanser doesn't contain 'harsh' ingredients. After cleansing I don't experience tight feeling so it's good. But at some point it bores me since I don't feel that fresh cool feeling. I've been using this for months after I ran out of my Etude AC Clinic Cleanser (you can see the review here and the second thought here) and after I used Garnier cleanser while I'm waiting for this baby to come (you can see the review here) and it last until now! WOW
It's really cheap if I'm not mistaken around IDR70 or so.
There's five types of the cleanser:

Lil bit short funny story: My mom tried it and love it instantly that she forgot to use her Garnier (accidentally bought)  cleanser. She even brought this cleanser when she's out and I'm so pissed (my dad often works out from Indonesia, and when get back to hometown for business, sometimes he choose to stay at hotel so my mom go there, she always ask me to join but I'm too lazy) so when she's back to take care of the house before go back to the hotel I asked her to switch the cleanser (gave her Garnier!). How bad I am LOL /slap

So,here's the conclusion!

PROS:
1. Moisturizing (not drying)
2. No tight feeling
3. A little goes along the way
4. Suitable for all skin type even for sensitive/hypoallergenic type
5. Cheap!

CONS:
1. Not cleanse really well
2. There's barely any fresh cool feeling after cleansing

RATINGS:

4 out of 5 stars!

Will I Repurchase?
Maybe, but I really want to try other cleansers! Kinda like cleanser junkie LOL .

Anyhow how great is the cleanser it's better to use cleansing butter/water/milk/oil/etc to cleanse your makeup properly before cleansing it with your cleanser , even though I don't own one LOL /slap
Oh yeah,I own 1,in sample size, from LOLA Box (you can read the review here)
It's quite difficult to look for great cleansing (makeup cleanser) that suits for sensitive skin like me *cries*

So,what about you?Any comment?Suggestion?what is your favorite cleanser?
